TEDXBAU/ 2026 The place & the purpose
Rooted in
As-Salt.
A university event with a city behind it. This is where our 2026 edition begins.
Our 2026 theme
Rooted.
What we inherit. What we question. What we choose to build.
Rooted brings this edition home to As-Salt and the university community. The red roots in our event artwork are a reminder of those connections: to a place, to people, and to the experiences that shape an idea.
Across its hills, As-Salt’s limestone streets connect houses, shops and shared public spaces. UNESCO recognizes the city for its architecture and traditions of hospitality.
